First time a three Days Satellite Designing and Launching Workshop in your state followed by a Rocket Launch.

CAN-SATELLITE

A CanSat is a simulation of a real satellite, integrated within the volume and shape of a soft drink can. The challenge for the students is to fit all the major subsystems found in a satellite, such as power, sensors and a communication system, into this minimal volume. We will carry out scientific data such as temperature, humidity, pressure, altitude and light intensity. The CanSat is then dropped from an altitude of around 20-25 feet from a platform and its mission begins: to carry out a scientific experiment/data in a mobile app and achieve a safe landing.

About CAN-Satellite

A CanSat is a simulation of a real satellite, integrated within the volume and shape of a soft drink can. The challenge for students is to fit all the major subsystems found in a satellite, such as power, sensors and a communication system, into this minimal volume.

CAN-Satellite Workshop

Following things students will do as a part of workshop:

  1. To fit all major subsystems found in a satellite, including power, sensors and communications, into the volume and shape of a soft drink can.
  2. To provide a parachute to ensure the can survives the landing.
  3. To carry out scientific experiments and transmit in-flight data to an Earth-based computer.

One take away kit will be given to a group of 3 students.

Benefits

The CanSat workshop offers a unique opportunity for students to have their first practical experience of a real space project. They are responsible for all aspects: selecting the mission objectives, designing the CanSat, integrating the components, testing, preparing for launch and then analyzing the data.

Help students in understanding the concepts behind satellite technology

Our trainers will guide students how they will make their carrier in Space Engineering, Aero Space Engineering, and Astrophysics etc.

Students will learn about rocket technology.

Students will learn about electronics, sensors, soldering, programming, interfacing etc.

They will learn about how to make a structure as per the parameters defined for satellite

Eligibility

Students from classes 6-12th are eligible for this workshop.

Students from any school can be the part of this workshop.

Selection Process

Written test. We will provide a study material online related to Can-Satellite Mission and based upon that interested students will give a test. Only Selected students will get an opportunity to be the part of this workshop.

Company will send question paper to the interested schools coordinators and school have to print test and distribute among student. After that school have to send answer sheets to company address via courier.

Awards and Certificate
